The consortium led by TADARSA and participated by APPLUS and ITURCEMI has successfully completed the R+D+i project corresponding to the IDEPA‘s call for R+D projects entitled FAWIND.
This project consisted of the creation of a new automated manufacturing system for the offshore industry and ITURCEMI has actively participated in the development of an autonomous technology capable of automatically detecting the defects produced in the SAW (submerged arc welding) process through artificial vision and with the application of deep learning techniques that would allow further development of the algorithm.
