Iturcemi expands its experience in Automation of Mining&Handling control systems with its participation in Duro Felguera‘s project for the supply of bulk handling equipment for a new steel complex in Bellara, Algeria, by Algerie Qatar Steel (AQS), promoter of the plant construction project.
Iturcemi’s work consists of the implementation of the control system of the two bulk treatment parks that make up the project. Conveyor belts, ore stacking and collection machines, train loading and unloading stations, as well as service equipment to support these facilities are included. For this we work with a network of Siemens S7-400 PLCs and a Wonderware Scada with redundant servers, engineering stations and various operating clients. The system is also completed with industrial communications and management of different systems of the industrial process such as firefighting, dust suppression, electrical substation, CCMs, etc.
Iturcemi’s experience in this industrial field as well as its profile as a Siemens Partner in Factory Automation and as a Wonderware Registered Systems Integrator are the keys that will allow us to achieve success in this project.
